Lara-Ann started her career as an Architectural Technologist in 2000 at the Austin Company—London, UK (2.5 years duration). She was a part of an integrated team of architects & engineers in the design and documentation of pharmaceutical R&D laboratories, offices, conference and facilities.

The Matrix Urban Designers & Architects—Port Elizabeth, ZA (6 years) as part of diverse project teams responsible for a wide range of urban and architectural projects including: Goven Mbeki Avenue Upgrade—Inner city urban renewal—Helenvale Precinct Plan, Port Elizabeth.
