Catholic Schools
The ‘Building the Education Revolution’ initiative was instigated and funded by the Federal Government to help kick start the economy following the Global Financial Crisis in 2008.
In association with Santelli Architects, KPA was involved in the documentation & contract administration of a number of projects for the WA Catholic Education Office.
These projects ranged in value from approximately $1 million to approximately $3 million. Depending on the requirements of the particular school, the projects included a combination of new buildings, alterations and additions, as well as refurbishments in both single and double storey construction. As the new works were designed to compliment the architecture of the existing school buildings, a variety of building styles and materials were used across the different projects.
KPA provided Architectural Services to Santelli Architects on the following projects; • Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School, Karrinyup Extensions to the Administration Area and Multi-Purpose Hall • St Domenic’s Catholic Primary School, Innaloo Library extension and new Multi-Purpose Hall • St Lawrence Catholic Primary School, Balcatta New Multi-Purpose Hall and Library • St Kieran Catholic Primary School, Tuart Hill New Multi-Purpose Hall and Library • Assumption Catholic Primary School, Mandurah Library extension and new Multi-Purpose Hall • St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Northam Administration Area alterations and new Performing Arts Centre • St Joseph’s Catholic High School, Northam New Science and Language Laboratories.
