Wattle Grove Shopping Centre

The proposal was for a “Neighbourhood Centre” that comprised of a supermarket, liquor store, specialty shops and a pharmacy.

The site backs onto the Woodlupine Brook Drain and is adjacent to a future public open space. The built form addresses these areas, as well as the street, by means of landscaped pedestrian access, activation of shopfronts and adjacent parking. The building fabric was designed to complement the direction of the Shire’s ‘Wattle Grove Village Centre’ master plan and the selected colour palette reflects the local vernacular in accordance with the Shire’s planning requirements.
