The Sale Yard

KPA were engaged to masterplan the transformation of the former Midland Saleyards into one of the largest homemaker centres in Western Australia. Anchored by WA’s largest Bunning Warehouse and renamed The Sale Yard, stage one of this development encompassed 31,000m2 and includes large format retail, a medical centre and fuel station, with stage two to develop the property further to over 50,000m².

Bunnings Warehouses

KPA have undertaken a number of projects for Bunnings Warehouse across the country, spanning Western Australia from Broome to Bunbury, as well as projects in South Australia and Queensland. The works have varied in scope from masterplanning through to construction documentation, and include completed projects such as Bunnings Trade Neerabup and Bunnings Harrisdale, pictured above.

Lift Equipt Gap Ridge Industrial Estate

KPA were engaged to design the Lift Equip Warehouse and Office located in the Gap Ridge industrial Estate in Karratha, overseeing the project through until the end of construction.

The project, situated on a 13,175m2 site, included a 1,200 m2 warehouse, 240m2 office space, 120m2 mezzanine floor, along with a truck entrance, car parking and boom gates, and a 12m x 24m wash pad.

Pearl Sea Commercial Laundry Services

The Pearl Sea Commercial Laundry is a large commercial laundry service catering for large resorts, aged care facilities, restaurants and hotels in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Responding to the outback nature of Broome and the Kimberley, the building is reminiscent of typical outback architecture such as corrugated steel cladding and a high pitched roof surrounded by the iconic Australian outback landscape. Working closely with the Client, KPA were able to provide a high end laundry facility with a bold design sitting amongst its surroundings.

Woolworths Petrol Stations

In conjunction with Scott Paterson at QPM (Quality Project Management), KPA has been working on the site planning and documentation of Woolworth’s and Woolworth’s co-branded Caltex Petrol Stations since year 2000.

Together, KPA and QPM have worked on petrol station sites in Western Australia, ranging from Albany in the South through regional and metropolitan sites up to Broome in WA’s Kimberley region.
