KPA Architects Design Workshop

Using stories from May Gibb’s Gumnut Babies series, our Senior Designer Penni Sutton has been leading the KPA team members through a ‘new site focused’ design process.

Starting with excerpts from some of May Gibbs most popular stories, KPA team members have developed a response to site based on value, memory and experience.  When describing the panels team members have included the ideas of belonging, adventure, embracing nature and value over time as a response to the text prior to visiting sites such as Kings Park and Floreat Beach.

Team members responses to the text and subsequent site visits have led to numerous designs that will be presented to the Client for approval in the next few weeks.
