KPA’s retail development Waterhall Shopping Centre was featured in the Midland Reporter Community Newspaper on March 15 2016.

Property Council‘s West Australian Retirement Living Market Research Conference

The Director of KPA, Todd Paterson, attended the Retirement Living Market Research Conference this year.

Key findings of the market research presented highlighted that aging buildings in the CBD could be potentially refurbished as retirement villages. This will solve the two problems of (1) finding tenants for these CBD buildings and (2) help conquer the shortfall or retirement living dwellings in 2026, which is estimated to exceed 13,000 units. As there is a growing appetite amongst baby boomer retirees to live in lively locations such as the CBD, this was a hot topic at the conference and is one that presents many opportunities.
